State elementary school SDN Karavana’s second grade students in Sidera Village, Biromaru Sub-District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province must learn in a hut nearby their school due to the inadequate number of classrooms. The hut also has very limited learning facilities.
Actually, there are 6 classrooms plus one library which enable students to have normal learning activities. However, since the last school rehabilitation did not build a teacher office room, one classroom is utilized as the teacher room.
SDN Karavana Principal Nurhidayah Spd said there was a dilemma in the problem. On the one hand, it is not ideal for the students to have learning activities in that kind of situation. On the other hand, school administration process needs to be continuously carried out. She has proposed the need to additional room verbally to the Sigi Regency Education Agency. The agency promised to allocate the amount of fund to build the teacher office room next year.
