Tunjangan Guru Cair Lebih Cepat

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) mempercepat pencairan tunjangan profesi guru (TPG) triwulan keempat. Mulai Senin (14/11) Kemendikbud mencairkan TPG untuk guru-guru non-PNS. Sementara itu, alokasi TPG untuk guru PNS menjadi urusan pemerintah daerah.

Dirjen Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (GTK) Kemendikbud Sumarna Surapranata mengatakan, Kemendikbud memang sengaja mempercepat pencairan TPG. Kemendikbud sejatinya bisa saja membayar TPG pada Desember nanti. Sebab, pembayaran triwulan keempat itu diperuntukan periode Oktober-Desember. Pranata itu mengatakan bahwa dana TPG untuk guru-guru non-PNS berada di Kemendikbud dengan total anggaran tahun ini sebanyak Rp 6 triliun.

Pranata menuturkan, Kemendikbud sengaja mempercepat pencairan TGP triwulan keempat. Alasannya bisa menjadi percontohan bagi pemerintah kabupaten dan kota. Dia berharap pemda secepatnya memproses pencairan TPG trwiulan keempat untuk seluruh PNS yang berhak menerima. Dirinya mengatakan batas waktu pencairan TPG bagi guru PNS yaitu sampai tanggal 16 Desember dan dirinya berharap aturan tersebut ditepati pemerintah daerah.

Sekretaris Jenderal Federasi Serikat Guru Indonesia (FSGI) Retno Listyarti mengapresiasi Kemendikbud yang mempercepat pencairan TPG triwulan keempat. Namun, Retno tidak bisa menutup mata bahwa birokrasi pemda untuk pencairan TPG itu lambat. Retno mencontohkan, di DKI Jakarta saja yang dekat dengan pemerintah pusat, pencairan TPG selalu di akhir periode, setelah daerah-daerah lain selesai mencairkan TPG.

Earlier Disbursement of Teachers’ Allowance

Ministry of National Education (Kemendikbud) has accelerated the disbursement of teaching profession allowance (TPG) for the fourth quarter. Kemendikbud disbursed the TPG for non-PNS teachers starting Monday (14/11). Meanwhile, the allocation of TPG for PNS teachers will be managed by local government.

Dirjen of Teachers and Educational Personnel (GTK) of Kemendikbud, Sumarna Surapranata, said that Kemendikbud had intentionally accelerated the disbursement of TPG despite the fact that it could actually have paid it in December because the fourth quarter is for the period of October-December. Pranata said that the funds for TPG for non-PNS teachers are held by Kemendikbud amounting to Rp6 trillion as the total amount of this year budget.

This acceleration was conducted as an example for the governments in regencies and cities. He hoped that local governments will process the TPG disbursement as soon as possible for all those PNSs having the right to receive it. The deadline of TPG disbursement for PNS teachers is 16 December and he demanded that this provision be followed by local government.

The Secretary General of the Federation of Indonesian Teachers Association (FSGI), Retno Listyarti appreciated Kemendikbud efforts in accelerating the disbursement of TPG. However, she cannot ignore that the bureaucracy of local government is slow. As an example, TPG disbursement in DKI Jakarta, although closer to the central government, is always conducted at the end of the period after other regions have already completed their disbursements.

Mendikbud Dorong Revitalisasi SMK

Dalam kunjungan kerjanya ke SMK N 9 Makassar, Rabu (16/11), Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud), Muhadjir Effendy, mengimbau agar SMK dapat mempersiapkan tenaga terampil di bidang kemaritiman. Sebab, Indonesia memiliki potensi sangat besar di bidang tersebut tetapi tenaga terampilnya masih minim.

Pemerintah saat ini, lanjutnya, tengah mendukung revitalisasi terhadap sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK). Untuk itu, pihaknya telah melakukan penambahan jumlah guru dengan kompetensi ganda, yakni guru adaptif dan guru produktif.

Ke depan, ia berharap para ahli dan tenaga berpengalaman ikut terjun mengajar di SMK setelah dilakukan proses penambahan kompetensi keguruan. selain bidang kemaritiman, revitalisasi SMK juga akan difokuskan pada bidang ketahanan pangan, pariwisata dan industri dan ekonomi kreatif.

Muhadjir menambahkan, semua itu harus didukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Ruang kelas dan lingkungan sekolah harus dibuat nyaman sehingga siswa dapat belajar dan beraktivitas dengan baik.

Mendikbud Encourages SMK Revitalization

UGM Kembangkan Website Anti-korupsi Pertama di Dunia

Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) tengah mengembangkan website anti-korupsi pertama di dunia sebagai bagian dari upaya pemberantasan korupsi di berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat.

Pendiri website antikorupsi UGM Rimawan Pradiptyo mengatakan, situs www.cegahkorupsi.wg.ac.id, merupakan langkah nyata peran akademisi untuk menekan praktik korupsi. Ia menjelaskan, website tersebut  berisi beberapa hal penting yang sangat terkait dengan upaya-upaya aktif dalam pencegahan praktik korupsi.

Di antaranya adalah, fakta korupsi, berita tentang hal terkait korupsi, peta korupsi yang terjadi di tingkat provinsi, dan kabupaten/kota. Selain itu, ada juga mengenai publikasi tentang pemahaman dan pencegahan praktik korupsi dari perspektif yang benar dan komprehensif serta berbagai regulasi terkait korupsi.

Menurut Riwawan, berbagai informasi yang disajikan dalam website itu dilihat dari sudut panjang akademis dan telah melalui kajian terlebih dahulu. Sehingga, bisa diverifikasi dan dipertanggungjawabkan secara ilmiah. Ia menambahkan bahwa belum ada satu negara pun di dunia ini yang memiliki website serupa.

Gadjah Mada University Develops First Anti-corruption Website in the World

Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is developing the first anti-corruption website in the world as part of the efforts to eradicate corruption in every single aspect of public life.

Founder of the website, Rimawan Pradiptyo, said that the website, http://www.cegahkorupsi.wg.ugm.ac.id, is a real step taken by the academicians to eradicate corruption.
He explained that the website contained important material related to efforts aimed at preventing corruption.

There are facts, news reports and a corruption map that covers all the provinces, cities and districts across the nation. In addition, there are also publications about ways to understand and prevent corruption as well as concerned regulations.

According to Rimawan, all the information on the website was from an academic point of view and has been reviewed and studied before being uploaded. Therefore, the contents are ve99rified and accounted for. He also added that no other country has such a website.

Sekolah Rawan Bencana di Jabar Dipetakan

Status darurat bencana yang diterapkan Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat (Jabar) membuat sejumlah daerah di tanah Pasundan bersiap. Komisi IV DPRD Cianjur, Jabar, meminta Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Cianjur, berkoordinasi dengan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD), untuk memetakan sekolah yang rawan bencana.

Wakil Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Cianjur, Cecep Buldan, di Cianjur, Rabu, mengatakan, hal tersebut harus dilakukan agar tidak ada lagi bangunan sekolah  berdiri diatas tanah yang rawan bencana seperti pergarakan tanah yang menimpa bangunan sekolah SMPN 3 Sukaresmi. Hal itu dilakukan guna menghindari hal yang tidak diinginkan.

Dia menuturkan, dengan adanya pemetaan diharapkan mampu meminimalisir dampak bencana, terlebih melihat kondisi cuaca saat ini yang tidak menentu, sehingga pihak sekolah dan siswa dapat waspada dan siaga bencana terutama ketika hujan turun dengan deras proses belajar mengajar dapat dihentikan.

ia mengatakan, koordinasi Disdik Cianjur dengan BPBD ditujukan untuk mendata sekolah mana saja yang berada di daerah rawan bencana agar pihak sekolah dapat mengantisipasi ketika terjadi hujan dengan intensitas tinggi pada jam sekolah. Sedangkan, untuk sekolah yang berada di daerah dengan resiko tinggi harus segera direlokasi, guna mencegah adanya korban jiwa jika terjadi bencana.

Disaster Prone Schools in West Java Mapped

Whereas, the schools located in high risk areas should be relocated, in order to prevent casualties in case of disaster.

Mutu LPMP masih Rendah

Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (LPMP) yang ada saat ini dinilai masih lemah. Hal itu diakui Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan bakal merugikan dunia pendidikan secara umum karena akan menghasilkan kualifikasi guru di bawah standar.

Dalam kunjungan di Sulawesi Selatan, kemarin, Mendikbud Muhadjir Effendy mengharapkan LPMP khususnya yang berada di Sulawesi Selatan dapat memberikan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya serta meningkatkan mutu guru-guru di daerah. Karena, saat ini yang menjadi persoalan ialah rendahnya mutu dan kualitas guru.

Dalam Rapat Koordinasi dan Penandatanganan MoU Sistem Penjamin Mutu Pendidikan Provinsi Sulsel yang dihadiri 24 kepala dinas pendidikan kabupaten/kota dan 360 unit pelaksana teknis daerah (UPTD) pendidikan di kecamatan, Muhadjir menegaskan mutu pendidikan mesti ditingkatkan. Selain itu, kata dia, standar nasional akan dikaji ulang mengingat di sektor pendidikan masih ada ketimpangan.

Selain itu, pihaknya pun akan merevisi kebijakan, diantaranya kebijakan tidak memberlakukan ujian nasional dan mensyaratkan guru mengajar di sekolah selama 8 jam termasuk mengajarkan pendidikan karakter. Persoalan lain ialah tidak meratanya pendidikan seperti di pulau-pulau kecil dan terpencil.

Sementara itu, Ketua LPMP Sulsel Abd Halim Muharram, pada kesempatan itu, menyatakan siap melaksanakan kebijakan dan instruksi mendikbud guna peningkatan mutu dan kualitas tenaga pendidik. Sedangkan, Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan Syahrul Yasin Limpo, dalam kata sambutannya, menyatakan pendidikan bagian dari upaya mencerdaskan anak-anak bangsa. Hal yang dibutuhkan ialah realisasi peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

LPMP Quality Still Low
