The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) has given assurance that no questions on the National-Based School Test (USBN) have been leaked. This was confirmed as they found that the questions presumed leaked were not same as the original USBN questions.
The Inspectorate General (Irjen) of Kemendikbud, Daryanto, said that the team has started investigation in Pati, Kudus, and also Jakarta. From this preliminary investigation, the initial presumption is that the ‘leaked’ and original questions are not the same. Daryanto said that his team is now seeking the motive of the information spreader concerning the presumed USBN question leakage.
Daryanto would also appreciate if students maintained focus on their studies and not allow their attention to be diverted. Nevertheless, the Kemendikbud Inspektorat Team is still keeping an eye on the presumption of this leakage. They are also requesting the supervisory party from the local education agency to take action according to the applicable regulation.
Daryanto explained that USBN has strong protection in regard to writing questions. He said that all related parties inside USBN from those writing questions to question delivery are already bound by their integrity pact. There is a limitation within the pact to minimize violations. This is to ensure that the national-based school test will run effectively on its debut.
