Committee Chairman of the State Higher Education Entrance National Selection (SNMPTN) and the State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN) Ravik Karsidi said that the National Examination (UN) remains a requirement for admissions of new students. SNMPTN is the State Higher Education (PTN) Entrance National Selection using report card grades, but this Rector of State University Sebelas Maret confirmed the use of UN scores is up to the respective PTN rectors.
Ravik said the extent to which, the use of the UN scores is highly dependent on the respective rectors. It cannot be equated between one higher education institution to another.
As reported, this year’s State Higher Education Entrance National Selection (SNMPTN) began March 15 to April 15, 2017. Announcement of the selection results will be conducted next April 26, 2017. Chairman of SNMPTN and SBMPTN 2017 Ravik Karsidi said the implementation of SNMPTN has a school requirement based on accreditation. For accreditation A schools, students who can follow SNMPTN are the best 50 percent in their school.
