The 2014 National State University Selection Process (SNMPTN) Organizing Committee claimed that it will apply stringent supervision on the submission of student and school data because the submission process is often used by schools as a loophole to manipulate data.
Akhmaloka, Head of the 2013 SNMPTN Organizing Committee, stated that last year, around 100 schools were suspected of manipulating data during data submission to the School and Student Database (PDSS). Data manipulation comes in forms of report card score alteration and inputting false achievements.
He further informed that out of the 100 suspected schools, 20 schools are proven guilty and have been blacklisted from the PDSS.
