National Equivalency Exam of Package A in Pandeglang Was Sat by 32 Participants

The National Equivalency Exam of Package A in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, was sat by 32 participants who were students from two Public Learning Centers (PKBM) of the region.

The Head of Curriculum Section of Education Agency of Pandeglang Regency, Sutoto, said that the National Exam Package A will be administered for three days, i.e. 6-8 May 2013 after the regular national exam for primary school (SD) students.

The subjects to be examined are Indonesian language on Monday, followed by Mathematics and Natural Sciences on the last day. Regarding the participants of national exam for SD students, according to him there are 26,154 students from all over Indonesia spread in 35 districts of Pandeglang Regency.

He also said that the national exam for SD students and Package A only measure students’ standard ability. The scores gained in the national exam will be later combined with school marks to determine students’ graduation.
